Product Description

Product Description

Don’t miss out on this essential education series that premiered in 2019, being updated and premiering live in 2020.  The 11-part Behavioral Health Care Breakfast Briefings webinar series is focused on behavioral health care standards (CAMBHC).  It is an opportunity to gain education while not having to travel to a live event. We are pleased to offer the same great content to the behavioral health care community similar to the hospital and ambulatory webinar series.  Take advantage by joining your peers in signing up to hear the latest surrounding BHC standards and survey process while earning continuing education credits as well.  Our faculty include Joint Commission Surveyors, JCR Consultants, and other Joint Commission Enterprise professionals from the Standards Interpretation Group (SIG) who answer your questions daily.   The content for this series will walk through each chapter of the CAMBHC including any changes coming, standards, elements of performance, challenging standards, and survey tips.

The Behavioral Health Care Breakfast Briefings Webinar Series is an educational offering designed for unlimited use at one facility only. Special healthcare system discounts are available upon request.

After completing this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe survey updates and revisions to the standards
  • Discuss strategies to meet those standards identified as challenging
  • Identify changes in the survey process for 2020-2021

Intended Audience

This activity is relevant to anyone providing care across the behavioral health care setting, but intended especially for: organization leaders, risk managers, supervisors, social workers, nurses, counselors, and staff responsible for quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management initiatives in addition to psychiatric and acute care staff of addiction and opioid treatment programs.

What is a Continuing Education Unit?

Through the Continuing Education Unit System, you receive formal recognition for improving your knowledge and skills by completing Joint Commission seminars.

Under the CEU system, one unit is awarded for completion of 10 hours of participation in our seminars and conferences in an organized, continuing education experience that provides responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.

What does the CEU mean to you and your career?
You receive immediate recognition for your career development efforts. A CEU certificate suitable from framing will be sent to you upon satisfactory completion of the Joint Commission seminar you have attended.

The CEU system…

  • Allows you to build a permanent record of achievement as you take part in education or training to further your career.
  • Provides a means for showing supervisors, personnel officers and others an official document that shows you have completed a seminar as part of your preparation for wider responsibilities and higher-level positions.
  • Offers a means for giving official confirmation of your completion of continuing professional education seminars to certification bodies, licensing boards and professional societies.
