Environment of Care/Life Safety: Compliance Issues in the Physical Environment

The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care and Life Safety (EC/LS) standards focus on how everyone in the organization should participate in activities that make the care environment safe. The standards require organizations to establish plans and identify key individuals for managing the environment of care; identify physical risks to which the organization is susceptible; establish activities to minimize these risks; train staff to implement these activities; and monitor the effectiveness of these activities and implement improvements. Join us to learn more during our 4-part “hot topics” series and hear directly from our subject matter experts, the Joint Commission’s Engineers. Identified hot topics include relatable struggles with compliance issues in the physical environment. Click on the webinar schedule below to learn more.
