The Environment of Care / Life Safety: Compliance Issues in the Physical Environment Webinar Series is now On-Demand as a series of prerecorded videos!
The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care and Life Safety (EC/LS) standards focus on how everyone in the organization should participate in activities that make the care environment safe. The standards require organizations to establish plans and identify key individuals for managing the environment of care; identify physical risks to which the organization is susceptible; establish activities to minimize these risks; train staff to implement these activities; and monitor the effectiveness of these activities and implement improvements.
This on-demand webinar series is intended for leaders working to build the safest environment for staff and patients including EC professionals, facilities management professionals, risk and accreditation managers, Life Safety Code® specialists, facilities management professionals, risk and accreditation managers, and quality managers and directors.
At the end of the program, the participant will be able to:
Discuss the most pressing changes to the 2012 Life Safety Code® and how it relates to your organization
Restate challenging EC/LS standards taught from Joint Commission Engineers and Surveyors
Explain essential hot topics as it relates to your upcoming accreditation survey for 2022
To participate, you can watch the recordings at any time after the premiere date. Recordings will be available on-demand for one full year after the first session.
The Environment of Care/Life Safety Series is an educational offering designed for unlimited use at one facility only. Special healthcare system discounts are available upon request.
