The 2025 Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Home Care (CAMHC) features the official Joint Commission standards, elements of performance (EPs), National Patient Safety Goals^®, and other accreditation requirements, including those for the optional Community-Based Palliative Care certification. It is organized as follows:

• “Gold tab” standards requirements, including ALL standards, EPs, National Patient Safety Goals, and Accreditation Participation Requirements effective January 1, 2025
• “Blue tab” accreditation process information about Joint Commission policies and procedures and practical survey preparation information on the Early Survey Policy,

The CAMHC also features icons to help navigate documentation requirements and risk areas, integrated regulatory requirements for home health and hospice deemed status, and a “What’s New” summary of changes made since the previous edition. Survey readiness tools, including compliance prompts, documentation checklists, and action planning worksheets, are included at the end of each standards chapter.

Please note: The CAMHC is published annually. The most up-to-date standards throughout 2025 are available digitally on E-dition^®, found on your Joint Commission Connect^® extranet site or available for purchase here.

Setting: Organizations accredited under the Home Care Accreditation Program, including those that provide home health services, personal care and support services, pharmacy services including infusion services and/or mail order and specialty pharmacies, long-term care pharmacies and freestanding infusion centers, durable medical equipment services, and hospice services

Payment Options

All Joint Commission Resources products require pre-payment. For your convenience, if you do not have a credit card or a Paypal account available, we offer a sales quote/proforma invoice option to assist with initiating your payment. Payments submitted by check take up to 14 days to process. If you are registering for a program less than 14 days away, your registration may not be received in time and your seat may not be reserved. You will not have access to electronic program materials until your payment has been received. We strongly recommend credit card payments for any events less than 14 days away.

To take advantage of this option:

1. Choose your item(s) and add them to your shopping cart. Select "Proceed to Secure Checkout or Create Proforma Invoice."
2. Enter your billing and shipping details. Select "Continue."
3. The next screen will be a full summary of your order.
4. On the bottom right, there is a section titled "Create Proforma Invoice."
5. Click the "Proforma Invoice" button. (See image below.) 
6. Within 5 minutes, a sales quote will be sent to your email address with details about how to complete a check or wire transfer payment.
