Joint Commission’s popular posters and badge buddies have been redesigned and updated to showcase the new 2026 National Performance Goals™—those requirements that go beyond Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and replace the former National Patient Safety Goals®. The NPGs™ help hospitals focus on important areas for patient safety and quality improvement by grouping requirements into clear goals.
 
Sold in 10-unit packs, the posters and badge buddies are an ideal way to communicate the new NPGs to staff and remind everyone in the hospital to make healthcare quality and safety a priority every day. Choose from the following products:
 
  • Large poster: An engaging, easy-to-read, 18" x 24" poster. Display where staff congregate as a visual reminder of the 2026 National Performance Goals. The 10 pack allows you to hang posters throughout the hospital to help ensure staff keep patient safety at the forefront of their daily work. Or post them in public spaces to let patients and visitors know you prioritize quality and safety.

  • Small poster: Vibrant, two-sided, 8.5" x 11" poster. Display one of two ways to meet your staff or patient learning needs: one side highlights the 14 measurable topics, while the other side defines each goal. The 10 pack allows you to hang posters where staff congregate as a visual reminder of the 2026 National Performance Goals. Or post them in public spaces to let patients and visitors know you prioritize quality and safety.

  • Badge buddies: Popular two-sided, 3.5" x 2.5" rigid laminated cards. Ask staff to wear as a quick reminder of the 14 goal-oriented topics and to educate patients. The pocket-sized badge buddies are sold in 10 packs and include a 1/8" x 1/2"-hole punch to attach directly to staff ID badges and lanyards.

All Joint Commission Resources products require pre-payment. For your convenience, if you do not have a credit card or a Paypal account available, we offer a sales quote/proforma invoice option to assist with initiating your payment. Payments submitted by check take up to 14 days to process. If you are registering for a program less than 14 days away, your registration may not be received in time and your seat may not be reserved. You will not have access to electronic program materials until your payment has been received. We strongly recommend credit card payments for any events less than 14 days away.

To take advantage of this option:

  1. Choose your item(s) and add them to your shopping cart. Select "Proceed to Secure Checkout or Create Proforma Invoice."
  2. Enter your billing and shipping details. Select "Continue."
  3. The next screen will be a full summary of your order.
  4. On the bottom right, there is a section titled "Create Proforma Invoice."
  5. Click the "Proforma Invoice" button. (See image below.) 
  6. Within 5 minutes, a sales quote will be sent to your email address with details about how to complete a check or wire transfer payment.
