Overview:

This one-day interactive workshop offers an advanced look at hospital tracers. Attendees will engage in case study discussions, learn about program-specific tracers, and participate in aggregate data exercises. Take advantage of this hands-on, experiential learning course that will help you evaluate safety in your organization and discover opportunities for improvement.


Who Should Attend:

This course is ideal for those who have already mastered the basics of tracer methodology and are ready for a more in-depth look at how to gather, aggregate, and interpret data and then identify specific areas for improvement. Hospital personnel serving in both administration and clinical roles will find this course to be of interest, including physicians, nurses, directors of quality, risk managers, compliance officers and accreditation managers.


What Will You Learn:

You will learn how to identify types of tracers that will help you detect and close gaps in care. The seminar will also offer a comprehensive review of several focused evaluations. After this course, you will understand how to evaluate tracer data, a skill you can bring back to your organization to help improve processes, reduce risk, and take better care of your patients. Other topics will include assessing compliance, acquiring and analyzing data to improve and sustain the safety and quality of patient care.

Cancellations, Substitutions, and Transfers

Attendee Cancellations– 30 or more days prior to the event:

If you need to cancel your attendance at a live event, your registration fee, less a $100 processing fee, is refundable, if written notice of cancellation is received via e-mail to the below mailbox 30 days or more prior to the program date. Please include the attendee name, program name, date and order #.

Attendee Cancellations - less than 30 days prior to the event:

If you need to cancel your attendance at a live event less than 30 days prior, you may send an alternate attendee.  Please include the registrant’s name, program name, date, and order number as well as the alternate attendee’s full name, title, credentials, address, phone, and email address. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the program or any no-shows. 

Event Cancellations:
Joint Commission Resources reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to an insufficient number of registrants or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program must be cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded in full to each registrant. You may verify current program status on our website or by calling JCR Customer Service at 877.223.6866. Neither Joint Commission Resources nor The Joint Commission is responsible for a registrant's travel expenses in the event a program is cancelled. Participants are encouraged to purchase refundable tickets in case a program is cancelled or rescheduled.
