Focusing on the need for health care organizations (HCOs) to prepare for and manage any and all emergencies they may encounter, this book includes tools and resources for an all-hazards approach to emergency management. In addition, the book provides disaster-specific tools for HCOs that prioritize those particular types of emergencies in their hazard vulnerability analyses. The tools are organized into four sections that address the following:
  1. Joint Commission EM requirements and building an emergency management program from a solid hazard vulnerability analysis
  2. Support for creating written emergency operations plans (EOPs) for specific health care settings
  3. Tools that help facilitate continuity of operations, including planning tools and hazard-specific disaster response and recovery tools

Payments submitted by check take up to 14 days to process.
